"All of them have an opportunity, they have to take advantage of it," said Hoke of players who want to play right away. Hoke added that these players are all signed to four-year scholarships as opposed to one-year scholarships.

On Funchess, tight end: "(Reporters) have him down as 205 (pounds). He’s more of 220 now. Very athletic tight end, a guy who can play your move tight end. You get down near the red zone, you can put him on the outside. He catches the ball extremely well with his hands."

On Ojemudia, linebacker:
"(Ojemudia is) a very talented rush end. Very quick. Like how he comes off the ball. Again, well coached, John Herrington does a tremendous job and he has for years."

At Farmington High, Bryan Green, running back, committed to University of Akron, Josh Curtis, wide receiver, to Morehead State and Marvin Jefferson, offensive/defensive line, to Wayne State during a signing event held after school today.
