Whalers Conclude Training Camp, Host Windsor Saturday at Farmington Hills

'Faceoff in Farmington' starts at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday

The Whalers concluded Training Camp scrimmages Friday afternoon at Compuware Arena when the Blues defeated the Whites, 4-2. The teams skated four-on-four in a thirty-minute scrimmage. Beau Schmitz led the Blues attack with a pair of goals, while Austin Levi and Garrett Meurs scored the others. Tom Wilson and Stefan Noesen replied for the Whites.

The Whites won the morning scrimmage, 4-3. RJ Mahalak, Dario Trutmann, Benadon Hawkins and Adam Restoule scored for the Whites; Stefan Noesen, Christian Wolanin and Michale Bunn scored for the Blues.

The White won a pair of scrimmages on Thursday, 9-3 in the morning and 7-4 in the afternoon.

WHALERS HOST WINDSOR SATURDAY IN PRESEASON OPENER: The Whalers host Windsor on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. in the preseason opener. The game will be played at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena in the "Faceoff in Farmington." Proceeds of the game will go to the Farmington Hills Hockey Association. Tickets can be bought at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena or by eamiling Marjann Lawson at secretary@fhhahockey.org.

The game will also be broadcast on the Whalers' Flagship station, 88.1 FM WSDP and on www.plymouthwhalers.com starting at 6:50 p.m.
