Capes, Cars and Cartoons at the Founders Festival Parade

Cartoon characters from Batman to Ziggy delighted a large audience on Grand River during this year's Downtown Farmington Founders Festival parade, which stepped off from Grand River and Power Road at around 9:40 a.m.

This year's theme was "Cartoons and Comic Books"; honorary grand marshals were Batman and Robin. The 90-minute parade ended with a Ziggy character balloon and, of course, the City of Farmington street sweeper.
