Meet Miss Farmington Candidate Lekha Mutyala

Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch profiles candidates who will participate in the July 17 pageant.

The 2013 Miss Farmington pageant will be held on July 17 at theFarmington Civic Theater. Registration was open to all girls between the ages of 14 and 18 who live or attend school in the Farmington Public Schools district, and nine contestants applied. Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch introduces you to them in this series.

Lekha Mutyala

Not only is Lekha Mutyala looking forward to her senior year at Farmington High School in the fall, but she is also very excited to compete in her first pageant this summer.

“I am diverse, and so I think that is a unique trait that I have among the rest of the girls,” Mutyala said.

Although the girls participate in about three community service events each week, her favorite event was the ice cream social at the Governor Warner Mansion.

“We really got to put everything together, and when guest that walked in, they were really was surprised at how well we set everything up,” said Mutyala.

When she is not volunteering through the pageant program, Mutyala loves to play tennis and is a musician, playing the guitar and the violin.
