Farmington DDA Recruits Volunteers for 2012 Events
Volunteers enjoy a picnic Tuesday as they commit to help with Art on the Grand and Founders Festival.
A group of about 50 Farmington area residents turned out Tuesday evening for the Farmington Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Volunteer Pep Rally, held at the Walter E. Sundquist Pavilion on Grand River.
The annual event, which included a light supper and docent-led tour of the Detroit Institute of Arts Inside|Out art exhibit, encouraged volunteers to commit to time slots for upcoming events, including Art on the Grand and the Downtown Farmington Founders Festival.
