But if you're looking for activities that take you off the beaten path, Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch is bringing you a week's worth of options to help you plan a creative celebration. Today's suggestion is:
Service
When someone says the word "romance", you probably don't think about community service. But getting involved with a civic organization – and doing it together – is a great way to show you care about your sweetie and your community.
As it happens, you have the opportunity on Feb. 14 to learn more about three local groups:

- If you're an adult 21-40 years of age, stop by around 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14 and meet this group. After a meet and greet, they'll discuss upcoming events and hear from State Rep.
