YouTube Video of the Week: Life Remodeled Build in Farmington Hills

Time lapse video shows two days' worth of the week-long build that resulted in a new home for the Goodwin family.

Two days out of a six-day home building project on Rensselaer in Farmington Hills are featured in this week's YouTube.com video.

About 200 volunteers participated in the Life Remodeled home building project, which began with the in May. After the home's foundation was constructed, volunteers worked Monday through Saturday last week to complete construction. Labor, materials and even furniture were donated.

The Farmington Observer reported Monday that the home was turned over Sunday to the Goodwin family, chosen by organizers of the home-building project through an application process.
