Holiday Lights and More This Week in Farmington and Farmington Hills

Get in the holiday spirit Tuesday at the Farmington Hills municipal campus.

Farmington Hills gets into the holiday spirit Tuesday, with the lighting of a unity candle and visit from Santa at the city's municipal campus on 11 Mile and Orchard Lake roads.

1. Learn how to support dying patients and caregivers

Botsford Hospital hosts this public seminar Monday, 7 p.m., with noted hospice and palliative care expert Dominic F. Glorioso Jr., D.O. He will discuss death and dying and the importance of family support in Classroom C at the hospital's Zieger Center, 28050 Grand River, Farmington Hills. No registration is required. 

2. City of Farmington Hills Holiday Lights Ceremony

Witness the lighting of trees and a candle near the fountain area on the Farmington Hills municipal campus on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Santa arrives at Fire Headquarters after the ceremony, with entertainment and refreshments. The event is free and open to the public. 

3. Farmington Musicale Christmas program

Offered free and open to the public, the Musicale's Wednesday, 1 p.m., program will consist of seasonal selections. Charlene Berry will play dulcimer music before and after the concert at St. John Lutheran Church, 23255 Gill Road in Farmington Hills. Learn more at farmingtonmusicale.com.
