See Marshmallows Falling from the Sky in Farmington Hills

Concerts and an outdoor survival class are also on the Patch calendar in Farmington and Farmington Hills this week.

Hundreds of marshmallows will fall from the sky Tuesday during the annual Marshmallow Fly and Fry event held in Heritage Park

Last year, more than 1,500 people attended the event, which offers families the opportunity to roast marshmallows for s'mores and hot dogs over a large campfire and tour a Farmington Hills Fire Department ladder truck. Kids will line up for the chance to retrieve marshmallows dropped from the top of the ladder, and turn them in for prizes.

The 5 p.m. event is free to attend; there is a nominal fee for food items. For more information, call 248-473-1800.
