Planning to venture out this weekend now that Farmington and Farmington Hills are moving out of the deep freeze?

Here's information about about a few weekend events that are posted on the Patch calendar:

Old Winery Farmers Market

Market master Jean Smith will share her wealth of knowledge about cooking with herbs, and chef Michael Tromblay from The Henry Ford will prepare a dish market-goers can sample. Located at 31505 Grand River, the market is open Saturday, 10 a.m.2 p.m.

School of Rock Farmington Open House

A new season of classes at the school starts Feb. 3. Stop by the Orchard Lake Road facility and take a tour Saturday, starting at noon. 

Sam Fazio: "Songs We Love"

Call one of the top three vocalists in Chicago, Fazio will pay tribute to your favorite performers from Broadway to the Rat Pack. For tickets or information about the Saturday, 7:30 p.m., concert at the Farmington Players Barn, visit recreg.fhgov.com or call 248-473-1848.
