Look for Farmington Hills Harrison alums in the first-ever meeting between the Wolverines (7-5) and the Wildcats (7-5).

It's the end of another football season for the University of Michigan. Here's what you need to know to cheer on Wolverines.

Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl

Michigan meets Kansas State at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, AZ on Saturday for the 25th annual Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. The game begins 10:15 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN. The Wolverines are 5-point underdogs, according to thespread.com.

The teams

“There will be a time where I stand there, look around, soak it all in and say, ‘Wow, man, this is Michigan,’ ” K-State senior linebacker Blake Slaughter told the Kansas City Star. “They are a great team, a storied program. I just respect the way they do things. They are a class-act program. It is going to be special to play a bowl game and to be able to do it on that stage against that team.”
  • Wolverines: Michigan (7-5, 3-5 Big Ten) is making its 43rd all-time bowl appearance in a bowl game. This is the first time that Michigan will play in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl (formerly the Copper Bowl) but the second time that the football program plays a bowl game in the state of Arizona. Their only previous visit to the Grand Canyon State was the 1986 Fiesta Bowl held at Sun Devil Stadium, according to mgoblue.com. Michigan has 20-22 record in bowl games.
  • Wildcats: Kansas State (7-5 overall, 5-3 Big 12) is making its 17th all-time appearance in a bowl game. Kansas State has lost its last five bowl games.
