2. Holly Days

This day-long event on Saturday starts at 10 a.m. with the Greens and Gifts Market at the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion and fun activities in Santa's Workshop. Santa arrives at noon. Other activities include free movies at the Farmington Civic Theater starting at 10 a.m. and 5:30 pm tree lighting and Santa visit at the Governor Warner Mansion.

3. Old Town Hall-iday Market

Shop more than a dozen Michigan crafters and businesses at the Old Town Hall (Masonic Hall), 23715 Farmington Rd. in Farmington, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday.

4. Childbirth classes at Botsford

This series of two Saturday classes at Botsford Hospital will prepare you and your partner for your child's birth and will help you become an informed participant in the birthing experience. Call 248-888-2500 to register or sign up at botsford.org/medical_services/new_beginnings_maternity/classes/childbirth.html.

5. Holiday Bazaar at Harrison High

More than 35 vendors, crafters and area businesses will have items on display at the school gymnasium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bazaar supports Harrison High School International Baccalaureate students in the DREAM Project, a service learning opportunity. Entrance to the gym is on the east side of building by the athletic fields at the school, which is on 12 Mile Road, between Orchard Lake and Middlebelt Roads.
