Take the Eco Challenge Sept. 28 in Downtown Farmington
Three local environmental organizations promote choosing one eco-friendly habit during the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market.
Peace Love and Planet, Ecotelligent Homes and Resource Recovery and Recycling Authority of Southwest Oakland County (RRRASOC) will host an Eco Challenge during the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market on Sept. 28, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion in downtown Farmington.
Designed to celebrate the debut of the locally produced environmental mini-series “Be the Solution”, the event will encourage members of the community to choose one eco-friendly habit to incorporate into their lives. The mini-series touches on several areas where kids can make an impact on the environment, and the Eco Challenge will highlight three: energy efficiency, recycling and transportation.
