Passing the Dog Temperament Test

One of the toughest jobs we have here is to tell a customer that their dog just did not pass our temperament test.  There are so many reasons why a dog does not pass the test including fear, interest, and some dogs are just not dog friendly.

Not all dogs are a good fit for group play.  Sure, most dogs do love to be with their own kind, many love the mental and physical stimulation dog daycare provides ... most, but not all dogs.  They are still great family pets or good dogs!

What's an owner to do?  Go on an extra walk, enroll in an agility class, training classes, may-be your dog would be a good therapy dog.  These are just a few ideas!

Don't take it personal if your dog does not pass a temperament test for dog daycare.  As I tell many owners, not every person likes to go to a party ..... not every dog likes to go or is a good fit for dog daycare either.
