Celebrating its 40th year in 2010, Harrison High School serves students in grades 9 - 12 on the east side of the district. The school faculty has established a mission of working with students, parents and the community to "provide a comprehensive curriculum, including extra-curricular activities, which will permit students to achieve their potential to become responsible and productive citizens in a rapidly changing world."
The school has met Annual Yearly Progress as defined by the federal No Child Left Behind Act, and received a "B" composite grade on its State of Michigan report card. Known for its powerhouse sports programs, the school has established an academic hall of fame. Students also excel in performing arts, and Harrison has active music, theater and dance programs. High schools within the district have been closed to intra-district open enrollment since 2004.
