Jean's is the anti-big box hardware store. I go here whenever I have a hardware issue that I don't immediately know the answer to. It's uncanny... I can't count the number of times I've come here over the years with a home repair problem that I thought no one would understand, and I only need to say a few words & not only do they get it, they can offer a product that works for me & some alternative suggestions. This is truly no exaggeration. I'll come in with some strange screw from a machine that I'm sure no one would have heard of, and within a minute I'm looking through a bunch of screws that are made specifically for that machine. I don't know where these guys get their knowledge but they know their stuff. It's like having an old time hardware store right in suburbia. And they pack a ton of stuff into a relatively small space.
