I took my 2007 Mazda3 in because it was grinding in first gear on a Friday; the server rep drove it & hears the grinding. Mark called on Saturday and said the mechanic couldn't find anything and the mechanic recheck on Monday. 1st and reverse gear were touching; they were contacting Mazda to rebuild. The mechanic says the check warning light was on, Diagnostic is $110; I authorized it thinking it was something serious. Tuesday, Mark says Mazda says replace the trans. The rear O2 sensor was out and would be $500 to replace it. Now I started getting suspicious, and said no. They replace the transmission and I picked it up Friday night. Get into the car on Saturday and the rear floor board has water over the floor mats. Checked the past weather and it rained 4 of the 7 days it was at Suburban Imports. Monday back to the dealer; only thing they can find is right door wasn’t seated right, but not enough to leak. They have no clue where the water was from, so there was nothing to fix. " No, our porters and mechanics would never leave the windows open." Sorry there is nothing we can do.
So for a recap, 1st time the mechanic checks out the car, he can’t hear the gears grinding, only one to see the check engine light, & I get the car back with standing water in it. I’ve bought 5 cars in the last 7 years from different dealers. But I go to Suburban Imports I end up with more issues then when I took it in. I would never step in the door of this place again!
