The Wood Creek school community is committed to its mission of building "a positive learning environment where all children are honored and encouraged to become lifelong learners, fully developing their unique abilities and interests." The school meets standards for Annual Yearly Progress as established by the federal No Child Left Behind Act and received an "A" composite grade on its State of Michigan report card. The school hosts a branch of LOC Federal Credit Union, open one day per week and operated by 4th-grade students under the supervision of an LOC Federal Credit Union employee. Students may open and maintain a savings account, and the branch is open for parents, faculty and staff to conduct regular business as well.
