I am an adult with Food Allergies (including peanuts). I have children that attend FarmingtonRead More Public Schools. My food allergy is so bad that I react to peanuts that I inhale in the air (potential Anaphalyctic Shock reaction from inhaling nuts and/or peanuts). I was so grateful that my kid's school was a Peanut and Nut free zone. It meant I could go to his school and events.

This won't insure more sleep - it will just make it easier for kids to stay up too late.

Exactly Bob! All the activities makes for later nights with homework or texting or gaming or justRead More fooling around. Kids are night owls no matter what time they have to get up. Period. Legislating a later school start just makes it harder to fit everything in. Don't do it!!!

How long was your student's bus ride today?
Vera Lucksted September 3, 2013 at 05:02 pm
Last year she had a scheduled 30 minute trip home from 1st grade, we no longer use the bus :(
