A number of masonic symbols are displayed around the top of the red brick building, which is also a gathering place for both lodge and community events. The Masons hosts pancake breakfasts, rummage sales and youth car washes during the year to raise funds for its activities. The building is also a hub of activity during the Farmington Area Founders Festival each summer.

Every year, the American Legion organizes a Memorial Day tribute that includes a ceremony in Memorial Park following the parade. A tree was planted in this park to honor the victims of the September 11th World Trade Center bombing.
