As we move closer to the unofficial end of summer, families have an opportunity today to get ready for a healthy start to the school year.  Here's what else you should know: There may be some patchy fog around the metro area this morning, so check our real-time traffic map for road conditions. Celebrate Michigan beer and wine, and help adults with developmental disabilities and local youth programs, this evening at Longacre House in Farmington Hills.

Today's weather may be a little cooler, but you can attend an event tonight that looks like a real heart-warmer. Here's what else you should know today: Temperatures are expected to drop into the 60s today, under mostly sunny skies. The National Weather Service predicts a low tonight around 43.  This special tasting at the Longacre House is hosted by the Xemplar Club, Community Living Centers and Farmington Hills Youth and Family Services After-School Program.
