Cafe Cortina Earns AAA Four Diamond Rating

The Farmington Hills restaurant has been on the list since 2003.

Café Cortina in Farmington Hills is among a handful of Michigan restaurants listed on the AAA's prestigious Four Diamond list. No Michigan restaurants received a Five Diamond ranking for 2012. In business for more than 35 years, Café Cortina offers an elegant atmosphere with a cozy fireplace. The restaurant prides itself on maintaining a garden that is the source of the fresh herbs and vegetables, including heirloom tomatoes, herbs, cucumbers, greens and peppers. According to the motor club, the Four Diamond rating indicates the restaurant delivers "a distinctive fine-dining experience". Yelp Helps at Cafe Cortina

A local restaurant hosts an event that benefits area non-profit organizations.

On Wednesday, Cafè Cortina in Farmington Hills will host a unique event designed to draw attention to at least 16 area non-profit organizations. Yelp Helps! will put community-minded locals in touch with non-profit organizations, including Boys Hope Girls Hope, which offers academic scholarships for underprivileged youths, and the Friends for the Dearborn Animal Shelter, which finds quality homes for adoptable animals. Whatever your interest, you’re sure to find a local organization that would love and appreciate your help.
