Falcon Cheer Team Places At Districts
The Farmington High School Competitive Cheer Team advances to state regional competition for the first time in school history.
I'm not sure who was louder, the cheer team or the parents and fans in the stands, when the judges announced a second place finish overall for the Farmington High School Competitive Cheer team at the MHSAA Division 2 District Cheer Competition held at Warren Woods High School Friday night. This was a special night. For the first time since Competitive Cheer became a varsity sport at Farmington High School, the team placed at district competition and is headed to the MHSAA Regional Finals that will be held at the Ortonville Brandon High School on Feb. 23. For those of you interested: The Farmington High School Varsity Cheer Team finished 8th at MHSAA Regional Competition today. (February 23rd) and will not be advancing to the State Finals. All in all, the team had a great season marked by some exciting firsts and look forward to an even better season in 2013/2014.   more ›
