Southeastern Michigan Free Throw Champ from Farmington Hills Eyes State Finals
Gabe Nazelli won the Elks National Hoop Shot Free Throw Contest southeast Michigan district title in Flat Rock last weekend.
The second time around is the charm for 10-year-old Detroit Country Day 4th grader Gabe Nazelli, who won the southeast Michigan district title in the Elks National Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest, held last weekend in Flat Rock. Gabe is the son of Christopher and Andrea Nazelli from Farmington Hills. Chris is a Senior Lecturer at Wayne State University, and Andrea is a Spanish teacher at Detroit Country Day. Soon after failing to make it to the state finals last year in the Boys Division, 8-9 year old category, Gabe began perfecting his free throw technique.
