Take a photo via Instagram for a chance to win a 24K solid gold bar.
There's pot of gold at the end of an Instagram contest to celebrate the launch of a new Faygo Beverages flavor, Faygo Gold, a spicy ginger ale. From March 15 through March 29, Faygo fans are asked to take a photo of “what” or “who” is most valuable to them and upload the photo to Instagram with the hashtag, #FaygoGold. The top three Instagram photos generating the most “likes” by 6 p.m. on Friday, March 29, will win. The winners announced on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter will receive a “Pot of Gold” that includes Faygo Gold and a 24K, solid gold bar valued at $250 for first place; $100 for second place; and, $50 for third place. Faygo fans can also visit Tapper’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry and Tapper’s Gold Exchange stores on March 16 …
Purchase several Michigan-made brands and the Farmington Hills-based company donates a portion of the price to help feed needy families.
Farmington Hills-based ACO Hardware is partnering with Gleaners Community Food Bank to raise funds that will help feed hungry families in Michigan. From now through Feb. 24, customers who purchase Faygo pop, Better Made snacks and Dearborn Brand sausage – all Michigan-made products – at ACO stores across Michigan will be helping Gleaners deliver millions of pounds of emergency food to soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties. According to the ACO Hardware website, the company will donate 5 percent of the purchase price of each item sold to Gleaners. There are two ACO stores in this area, 31580 Grand River in Farmington and 29615 Orchard Lake in Farmington Hills.
