Be a Holiday Angel to a Farmington Area Family in Need
Adopt a local family through the Farmington Youth Assistance program.
Farmington Youth Assistance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening area youth and families through community involvement, is looking for volunteers to “adopt” a family in Farmington or Farmington Hills. The Holiday Angels program helps provide underprivileged families with clothing, toys, toiletries, and grocery and utility cards to make their holiday season a little brighter. “With the holidays around the corner, we’re rallying the community to help families who may need a little extra support this season,” said Maria Showich-Gallup, FYA board member and organizer of Holiday Angels. “This is our sixth year organizing Holiday Angels.
