Farmington Hills Council Approves Liquor License for New Restaurant
The former owner of Bombay Grille will open RAO Sports Bar & Grille in space formerly occupied by Players Billiards.
West Bloomfield resident Vijaya Rao, former owner of Bombay Grille on Orchard Lake in Farmington Hills, moved one step closer to opening a new restaurant Monday. Farmington Hills city council members on Monday approved a liquor license transfer and new Sunday sales, outdoor service and entertainment permit for RAO Sports Bar & Grille, which is expected to open this spring in the former Players Billiards Bar & Grill location on 10 Mile Road east of I-275. According to the license application, Rao will invest about $10,000 in renovations to the 4000-square-foot space.
