Drivers and meal packers, with help from City of Farmington Hills staff, will make sure 37 home-bound seniors have a hot Thanksgiving meal.
At 9 a.m. Thanksgiving Day, the delightful aroma of roasting turkey wafts through the commercial kitchen at the Costick Center in Farmington Hills, as Renee Lewis pulls foil-wrapped packages out of the oven. Lewis, a staff member, is preparing a holiday dinner for 37 home-bound senior citizens who might not otherwise have a special meal – or even a visitor – for the holiday. Click to get started! Follow progress of Patch's fight against hunger. Click to watch donations grow! Why give? How You Can Help That being said, you can help—or get help—in any number of ways in the Farmington/Farmington…

She said the program has three or four vacancies. "It's constantly changing," she said, "but usually (drivers) take one day a week." Each driver makes …
