New Farmington Restaurant Serves Up Mexican Food, Cooked to Order

Chulbu'ul opens with a menu that includes burritos, tacos, salads and more, made while you watch.

After months of construction and preparation, Chulbu'ul Mexican Grill opened Friday on Grand River in Farmington.  The small building next door to Grand One Hour Cleaners has undergone extensive renovations over the past year. The open layout offers customers the opportunity to watch while their food is being prepared.  Manager Emad AlBayrouti said all of the ingredients, from vegetables to grilled meats, are prepared fresh every day.  "Our recipes are not spicy, but they can be, by order," he said, noting the restaurant offers five types of salsa.  The menu includes more than a half-dozen kinds of burritos, burrito bowls, salads, quesadillas and tacos. Prices range from $6.25 to $6.75 for regular menu items; $3.25 to $3.75 for kids' menu …
