Farmington Hills Police Warn About Coyote Sighting

Authorities issue an alert advising residents in the Old Homestead subdivision to keep their pets close.

Farmington Hills Police issued a Nixle.com alert Friday night, after several residents in the Old Homestead subdivision reported seeing a coyote.  "Residents are advised to keep your pets under close watch and to be cautious if the animal is observed," the alert advised.  The department has contacted the Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources about the sighting.  Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch readers earlier this month reported their coyote sightings in the community. A number were along 11 Mile Road; Old Homestead is located in the 11 Mile and Drake Road area.  View the map here: Coyote Sightings in Farmington and Farmington Hills.
