Farmington area students will see expanded hours at the Farmington Civic Theater during the school break. Movies will start a little after 12:30 p.m. daily through Jan. 6, 2013. Currently on the schedule are Here Comes the Boom (PG), Taken 2 (PG-13) and ARGO (R). Rise of the Guardians (PG) and Wreck It Ralph (PG) start Wednesday, Dec. 26. General manager Scott Freeman says attendance at the Civic is up 185 percent over two years.
Thanks to a busy summer, the Farmington Civic Theater is bringing back its popular Free Popcorn Tuesdays beginning Sept. 25. Scott Freeman, the theater's general manager, said that as of June 30, attendance is up 185% over two years. "Free Popcorn Tuesdays is a way to say thanks to all our fans," he said.
