Fidelity Investments Delivers Musical Instructions to Detroit High School Students

The company, which has offices in Farmington Hills, supports the Martin Luther King Jr. Sr. High School.

Fidelity Investments, which has offices on Northwestern Hwy. in Farmington Hills, surprised students of Martin Luther King Jr. Sr. High School this week with a donation of new musical instruments collectively valued at more than $20,000.  The donation was made as part of Fidelity’s ongoing effort to support music programs in public schools across the country.  During a special performance featuring the King High School band, the staff of Fidelity’s new Detroit Investor Center marched into the auditorium presenting an assortment of much needed, brand new instruments including: five pair of marching cymbals, three flutes, two trombones and one xylophone, as well as an assortment of reeds and mouthpieces.
