Farmington Hills, Northville Women Seriously Injured in Wednesday Assaults
Farmington Hills Police ask for assistance from anyone who saw suspicious activity around Village Green Apartments, Green Hill Apartments or Founders Sports Park on Wednesday.
Farmington Hills and Northville City Police are investigating two brutal assaults on women that occurred within an 11-hour period on Wednesday. According to a Farmington Hills Police press release, a 42-year-old resident of Village Green Condominium Complex, at Eight Mile and Grand River, suffered serious injuries when she was attacked at around 10:45 p.m., while inside the entrance to her building. Her assailant used a "club-type instrument", according to the release. The woman was treated at the scene by Farmington Hills Fire Dept. medics, then transported to an area hospital.
