The Farmington Hills Youth Theatre will take audiences on a magical journey to the enchanting world of make believe, when a wonderful hero of childhood comes to the Costick Center stage in the classic tale “Peter Pan" Nov. 15-18. Adapted from the famous book by J. M. Barrie, "Peter Pan" is as ageless as its namesake. Peter leads the way for Wendy and her brothers, with his feisty sidekick Tinkerbell. Great music, dancing, and, of course, a very determined crocodile, add to the spectacle. The Youth Theatre’s production will provide affordable, family entertainment to all in six delightful performances, featuring over 140 children, teens and adults in two casts. The City of Farmington Hills invites both beginners and seasoned actors in grades 3 through 12 to audition for the upcoming production of “Peter Pan” on Sunday, Sept. 9 at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile in Farmington Hills. Auditions are easy and friendly. The audition schedule is as follows: Bring a recent school photo; all other materials will be supplied. No prior preparation for the audition is necessary. Audition forms are available on the City’s website, fhgov.com, under "Cultural Arts/Youth Theatre". “Peter Pan” is presented by the Farmington Hills Youth Theatre, in conjunction with Sky’s the Limit Productions, and auditions are open to both residents and non-residents.
