Tickets are still available for the Farmington Community Library Red Carpet Event, held Feb. 10 at the Farmington Civic Theater. The local showing of Academy Award-nominated short films officially kicks off "I Geek the Library," a year-long initiative designed to raise awareness about the library and what it brings to the community. The word "geek" is used as a verb, meaning: Seating is limited, and tickets are $15 a person and $25 a couple, available at the Main Library and Farmington branch.
