The Oakland Community College theater program brings the classic tragicomedy to the Smith Theater stage in Farmington Hills.
This coming weekend brings your last chance to see Oakland Community College Theatre Program’s production, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are two minor characters in Shakespeare’s Hamlet, but Stoppard has turned them into existential antiheroes in his brilliant play. Final performances start at 8 p.m. March 29-31 in the Smith Theater at OCC’s Orchard Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills. General admission is $8; students and seniors (age 60-plus) pay $5. Tickets may be purchased at the OCC Raiders Store or at the Smith Theatre Box Office on the day of the performance. Tickets may also be reserved in advance by calling 248-522-3666.
