UPDATED: North Farmington, Harrison Dunckel Collect Snow Flakes for Sandy Hook
The schools join a National PTA effort to decorate the new school attended by students who were displaced after a mass shooting with paper snowflakes.
UPDATE: North Farmington High, Dunckel Middle School and Harrison High Parent Teacher Association (PTA) groups have announced they will collect snowflakes to brighten the lives of children displaced by the Dec. 14 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown CT. In list serv messages, the schools indicated they will join a National PTA effort to collect paper snowflakes that will be posted on the walls of the new school attended by Sandy Hook students. The children will not return to their school after a lone gunman forced his way in and killed 20 children and six adults, before turning the gun on himself.
