No, Bryce, but thanks for guessing! The foundation belongs to Historic Springbrook Gardens, which opened on Power Road just north of Shiawassee in Farmington in 1932. I've posted a photo showing the full view of the building.   more ›

The Mayor is correct. Here's the story behind the photo: "This bronze sculpture was created by Israeli artist Itzak "Izzy" Assour. It was donated to Adat Shalom Synagogue by the late Betty & D. Dan Kahn and sits in our Goldin Garden courtyard in front of the building."   more ›

This is, indeed, Glen Oaks Country Club on 13 Mile Road in Farmington Hills. Opened in 1925, the clubhouse was designed by Butterfield and Butterfield architects - Farmington mayor Wells Butterfield and his daughter, Emily, who was the first female licensed architect in Michigan.
