A once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Galapagos Islands will among the fantasy trips up for auction at this year's Farmington-Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families Heart and Soul Gala, held Feb. 9 at Sellers Buick GMC in Farmington Hills. According to a press release, the winner and a companion will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience of joining a renowned National Geographic Society photographer on the Society's official ship Endeavor. Farmington Hills residents Katherine and Ken Massey will receive the Riley Award for Altruism during the Farmington/Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families 2013 Winter Gala on Feb. 9 at 6 p.m., at Sellers Buick GMC in Farmington Hills. In 2011, the Masseys created a foundation to honor the memory of their son, Graham E. Smith, who took his own life on Mother's Day that year.
