Poet Joy Gaines-Friedler of Farmington Hills will keynote the 2013 "A Call to Wholeness" conference for women, presented by the Womencenter at Oakland Community College Orchard Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills. The event will be held on March 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the campus’ J Building. Admission is $40 per person. Gaines-Friedler's interactive presentation, “Empowerment, Transition, Awe and Celebration through Writing the Personal Narrative”, will guide participants on a writing journey.
