Farmington Hills Police Investigate Apartment, House Break-Ins

Residents report coming home to find their doors kicked in or locks jammed.

Farmington Hills Police are investigating a number of attempted and completed home invasion and breaking and entering reports over the past week.  The following reports were filed between Nov. 28 and Dec. 3: A resident in the 30000 block of Hunters Drive called police on Nov. 28 to report damage to the front door lock of her apartment. According to the report, an attempt to pry the lock open jammed it, so that the woman wasn't able to enter her apartment. Police found nothing disturbed inside.  The property manager of Village Green apartments called police on Nov. 29 to report the door to an apartment on Floralview had been forced open.
