What's Open, Closed for Christmas?
Farmington and Farmington Hills government offices and both library branches are closed Dec. 24 and 25. Movie theaters, some restaurants and other businesses will be open, most with limited hours, both days.
You can still mail a package on Christmas Eve, but if you've got business to do at Farmington or Farmington Hills city hall, it will have to wait. All local government offices, including city halls and the 47th District Court building, will be closed both Dec. 24 and 25. Both the Farmington Community Library Main Library and the Farmington branch will be closed Dec. 24 and 25. You can renew and reserve books online at farmlib.org. The United States Post Office branches in downtown Farmington and on 12 Mile Road in Farmington Hills will be open until noon on Dec. 24, then close through the holiday.
