ReplyHi Marcia,
Good questions, and I only have answers to but a few. The incident occurred at about 4 p.m. on April 17, and the individuals are residents. Their names are in the reports, but are not released to the public/media unless there are charges and an arraignment that follows. If you haven't already, I'll forward the rest of your questions to the department. -

ReplyThanks Marcia, and good question. I do not know for sure, but it's possible that this type of service is part of mutual-aid agreements between neighboring departments, or they may just rotate on-call responsibilities for situations like this. It'd be good to find out.

Thanks Mom C, we appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion. The students were actually invited guests and recognized for their hard work completing their book of essays on leadership. This was not a Country Day event and the students were honored for developing the ideas and concepts for their essays, which occurred in the classroom.
