Mill Race Village is a great place to take photographs. Many great backdrops throughout the park, but I honestly don't see anyone paying to shoot there. It's not the only nice place to take a picture. The Historical Society, like many others nowadays, are just being greedy, and alienating a large group that bring people to the village every year. I like the village. I've shot there many times over the years, but I have no problem going somewhere else to take a professional photo. There are many beautiful spots in Northville alone, but surrounding areas too. I'm sorry the society has to take this position and now lose all those oppertunities for others that say "how beautiful, where was that picture taken?" ...not Mill Race. Not anymore.

Is Border Cantina considered Novi or Northville? Northville does extend a half mile north of Eight Mile, but Border Cantina is on the other side of Novi Road, so probably Novi. Either way, I'm eating there tomorrow!!! :)

Antonio's is one of my family's favorite place in all of Metro Detroit to eat. So good!! We've been going there for years.

Welcome to Northville Patch, Lisa! One of my NEW favorites is the Pizza Cutter! I know pizza isn't the most exciting dish in the world, but my 6 year old daughter insisted I try it this summer (she went there last year on a school field trip). They have so many different specialty pizzas, I didn't know what to pick. I went with the pesto and tomato pizza. WOW! Excellent!! I'm embarrassed to admit I've been living in Northville for eight years and just tried the Pizza Cutter, but I'm glad I finally did!!!

Good luck and I look forward to reading about all the good eats around here.
