John Willyard, Neighbor

A Detroit native, John Willyard holds a BSME and MSME from the University of Michigan and has worked his entire professional career in the automotive industry. He has a photography business, www.farmjohnphoto.com, and has written a number of monographs and small books on the history of Farmington and Farmington Hills. He has been a member of the Farmington Hills Historical Commission since 1982 and chaired the group for the past 10 years, and is a long-time member and former president of the Farmington Historical Society. He and his wife Nancy own a historic home in Farmington Hills and have raised three children, John, Joe and Bonnie, in the city.
