Nancy Serlin, Neighbor

Nancy Serlin designed and had been teaching a science program for pre-schoolers for the past 28 years before her retirement. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Michigan and is a parenting specialist who does private consulting work.  She has facilitated parenting classes in the Farmington School District as well as in other local school districts. In addition, she has been invited to speak at conferences at the state as well as national levels and has appeared on local radio and television programs. She has appeared on WNIC’s Breakfast Club (100.3 FM) as the station’s “parenting expert". Lately, Nancy was a presenter in March of 2011 at the Walled Lake Parenting Fair where her talk was titled, "And this time I really mean it!" (Along with other silly things parents say).
