Zellia Fossett, Neighbor

Zellia “Zee” Fossett is an aspiring writer and columnist. Red is her favorite color. Oreos are her favorite snack. She’d choose hardcover over paperback books on any day. Her passion is invested in writing and art and in the comfort simple laughter can bring. She believes that a community’s health is based upon the spirit of giving, volunteerism, discourse and change. Zee joins the Patch team after having worked as a columnist for Grand Valley State University’s Lanthorn, a student run publication. She plans to attend graduate school in the fall of 2011 to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Non-Fiction and cannot wait until her locks are long enough to swing from.
